General Information

The school lunchroom is maintained as a vital part of the health program of our school. Our cafeteria is operated under the auspices of the Child Nutrition Program, a division of the State Department of Education. We are bound by all of the regulations mandated under the program.Students may bring a lunch from home or purchase lunch from the school cafeteria. However, no meals from home will be heated or refrigerated for students. When bringing a lunch from home, students are asked to bring also napkins and straws.If a child purchases lunch from the cafeteria, lunch money should be placed in an envelope and clearly marked with the child's name and grade. Lunch tickets may be purchased by the month, week, or day. The menu for the upcoming two weeks is published in the biweekly newsletter and in the e-newsletter. Parents are always welcome for lunch. Please notify the lunchroom if you are eating at school.

Meal TicketsMeal tickets will be issued primarily on Mondays for either a week, two weeks or a month. If you do not purchase a meal ticket on Monday, you should purchase lunch by the day. When a meal ticket is purchased, under no circumstances may you use it for anything other than a full lunch.Lunch money should be placed in an envelope with the child's first and last name, grade and an explanation of the contents.Example:

Jane Doe - 4th Grade

4-lunches @ $2.25 each

Daily snack @ .60 (5 days)

Ice Cream @ .50 each
